- Better Sleep
- Feeling good in joints and movement
- Greater flexibility
- Functional muscle balance
- Improved performance in next workout

The composition of the treated muscle is more similar to that of healthy muscle, implying that treatment helps restore proper muscle function. Credit: Wyss Institute at Harvard University
Is this for me?
Do you:
- Feel muscle tightness or soreness?
- Regularly engage in physical activities and want to reduce the likelihood of injury?
- Feel tenderness from a physical activity?
- Have limited range of motion?
- Experience chronic pain?
- Want to stay in optimal physical condition?
- Hasten the healing and recovery process?
- Have a body?
If any of these apply to you, then 100x yes!
How does it work?
By using different massage techniques with varying pressure & movement strokes, sports massage therapists can strengthen, lengthen, or stretch soft tissue, as well as stimulate fluid (such as blood, lymph) flow.
This can help to release myofascial restrictions, break up any restrictive scar tissue and/or release toxin build up that might have accumulated over time.
With better circulation and blood flow through our soft tissues, our bodies can repair more efficiently.
In addition, massage calms our nervous system, be it directly or indirectly. When we are relaxed, our bodies can more confidently and effectively enter recovery mode.
In combination, sports massage increases the potential for the number of muscle fibers recruited in affected areas. This can translate to fewer injuries and greater flexibility, ease, power, and mobility in one’s movement and performance (be it everyday function or athletic tasks).

What can I expect in a session?
Full body treatment AND you can ask to include greater focus on areas based on previous/existing injuries, type of physical activities you engage in, or parts prone to stress.
